I am Erika Synnestvedt, the maker, dreamer, and proud owner of this woman-run laser engraving business. My creative roots go all the way back to childhood weekends spent crafting with my Grammy. She taught me the joy of working with my hands—and the deeper magic of creating with heart. That spark she lit in me has never gone out.
Beyond the workshop, I have served as a volunteer firefighter for over 25 years. That role shaped my life with values like perseverance, dedication, and community—qualities that now guide how I run my business every single day.
My journey into laser engraving started unexpectedly, with a Facebook ad for a tabletop laser engraver. I was instantly intrigued. That Christmas, my biggest cheerleader—my husband—surprised me with the very machine I’d been eyeing.
From the moment I powered it on, I was hooked. I started engraving anything I could find, chasing ideas and learning as I went. What began as gifts for family and friends soon became something more. I upgraded to a commercial-grade machine, and with that leap, turned a personal passion into a full-fledged business.
The name and spirit of my brand is inspired by blue hydrangeas—my favorite flower. In many cultures, they symbolize perseverance and honor, two qualities I believe every entrepreneur must carry. They represent not only the heart of my business but the path it took to get here.
